Meet our 2021 Cherry Blossom Princess, Alivia Roberts. Alivia Roberts, a native of Shannon, MS, is the Deputy White House Liaison at the U.S. Department of Justice. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Mississippi State University with distinction, Summa Cum Laude. During her undergraduate tenure, she was a member of the Lambda Pi Eta Communication Honor Society and served on the Student Association Senate, writing merit-based legislations, which earned her the Jimmy Abraham Service Award by the Student Association Executive Council. In May 2020, Alivia graduated as a Wolcott Scholar and Pi Alpha Alpha Global Honor Society inductee from The George Washington University with a Master of Public Administration and Certificate in Nonprofit Management. She is a member of the Mississippi Society of Washington, DC's board, the Junior League of Washington, and Kappa Delta Sorority’s National Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. As a thriving entrepreneur, Alivia is CEO of Roberts’ Consulting Company focused on at-risk students in their quest to build career development identity.
